Petits Kickers Soccer ProgramProviding group soccer lessons to children ages 3 to 6 in the Kansas City area.
Our goal at Petits Kickers is to introduce soccer to children boys and girls ages 3 through 6 years old in a way that is not only fun, but also enforces social skills, improves self-awareness and self confidence, and promotes bravery and creativity with a go for it mentality that can help provide essential foundation for the rest of their lives.
Soccer is the world's most popular sport probably because it is a lifestyle sport that people can play their entire lives. The first stages of athletic advancement entail creating body awareness, strength and fitness. Upon this core, advanced skills and muscle coordination can be developed for any sport.
Each session will meet once per week. Each session last between 30-45 mins. When weather is bad the session will be in the classroom or in the gym if the center has one. All equipment will be provided.
During our soccer sessions, we teach children the foundation of the game of soccer by teaching them dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting skills. We keep it fun and lively with games keeping children engaged throughout the sessions.
Coach Ibrahim has 10+ years recruiting and coaching at youth soccer clubs such as Kansas Rush and the Kansas Olympic Development Soccer Program (ODP).
Ibrahim played at the professional level since 2003 in the MLS, MISL, USL, having won 3 championships in 2004 & 2006 with the Baltimore Blast, and again in 2010 with Monterrey, Mexico.
Ibrahim focuses on creating a love for the game of soccer by developing coordination, balance, and ball control.
The goal is for children to not only learn the wonderful game of soccer, but to also have fun, build social skills, improve self-confidence and instill a brave creative go for it mentality that can help provide the right foundation for the rest of their lives!
